About The Position

Visit.org is seeking a Freelance In-Person Event Host in Boston, MA, to facilitate interactive social impact experiences for corporate partners at on-location events. This role is ideal for someone with stage experience who is comfortable in front of a crowd and eager to contribute their skills to positively impact local communities. The successful candidate will be based in Boston, MA, possess corporate event experience, an entrepreneurial spirit, a strong passion for Visit.org's mission, and the energy and discipline to thrive in a start-up tech environment. Visit.org is an enterprise SaaS company focused on delivering purpose for a more engaged workforce, providing infrastructure and content for purpose-driven employee and client engagement to major clients like Colgate, ADP, IBM, Adobe, Twitch, Nielsen, and others.

Requirements

Fluent in English
Based in Boston, MA
Availability to work on a contract per event basis
Comfortable interacting with groups of people as well as one on one
Ability to keep events flowing and participants engaged
Easy conversationalist with lots of energy, charismatic personality, and a sense of fun
Experience with group facilitation and managing group dynamics
High energy and a positive attitude
Quick thinker—able to problem-solve on the fly when issues arise during events
Extremely comfortable with and enjoys public speaking
Excellent customer service and presentation skills

Nice To Haves

Background in acting, comedy, improv, or similar profession that requires engaging and interacting with an audience

Responsibilities
