About The Position

Event Cleaners are responsible for the cleanliness and maintenance of assigned events. They perform a range of cleaning duties to maintain the facility’s daily upkeep and cleanliness, and set up and take down event equipment when needed. This is an as-needed position on the second shift and weekends.

Requirements

• Excellent work history.
• Team-focused approach and ability to work with others and take direction.
• Ability to work efficiently with attention to detail in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to reach, bend, stoop, wipe, push, and pull.
• Ability to frequently lift, push, pull, or carry objects up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to walk and stand extensively for the duration of the shift.
• Sufficient mobility to perform assigned tasks within established production and service time frames.
• Ability to work in temperatures ranging from extreme hot to cold.
• Background check required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of assigned events and facilities.
• Sweep, dust, dust mop, damp mop, vacuum, extract carpet, and strip and wax floors.
• Remove trash and recycling.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms and locker rooms.
• Wash windows and clean desks, walls, furniture, doors, entry and interior glass, countertops, chalkboards, whiteboards, blinds, and light fixtures.
• Set up and take down event equipment when needed.
• Perform other duties as directed by the custodial supervisor.
