About The Position

BallerTV is seeking Event Contractors to join their team. This is a part-time, weekend contractor position focused on live-streaming youth sports tournaments. As an independent contractor, you will have flexibility in choosing events. The role involves setting up and operating filming equipment, ensuring stream quality, and troubleshooting technical issues. You will be working at top sports venues and gain hands-on experience with new technology. The job requires you to be on your feet and lift heavy objects, with shifts that can be over 12 hours long and weekend tournaments potentially exceeding 30 hours of work. BallerTV is a rapidly growing startup in the sports broadcasting industry.

Requirements

• Must be local to the city listed.
• Must be available to work FULL SHIFTS Thursday, May 28th - Sun, May 31 (2026).
• Must Have Reliable Vehicle.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Must complete a pre-event background check.
• Must be familiar with iOS devices and products.
• Must be personable and professional at all times.
• Must have the ability to multitask with a strong attention to detail.
• Must possess a positive winning attitude.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in (live) event production, sports, or any customer-facing position is a plus!
• Knowledge, interest, and experience within grassroots soccer, lacrosse, basketball, volleyball, football and/or wrestling is a plus!
• Having a current and valid Driver's license to receive and transport event equipment.

Responsibilities

• Receive and handle all event equipment, including camera gear & marketing assets.
• Set up BallerTV’s streaming system (filming equipment) at each court (or field).
• Move safely, be efficient, and maneuver with a sense of urgency throughout your workday.
• Ensure each game’s stream is steady and consistent.
• Operate and troubleshoot equipment and technology.
• Maintain communication with the BallerTV team throughout the event.
