About The Position

BallerTV is seeking Event Contractors to join their team. This is a part-time, weekend contractor position focused on setting up and managing live streaming equipment for youth sports tournaments. The role offers flexibility, excitement, and hands-on experience with new technology. Contractors will be responsible for receiving and handling equipment, setting up streaming systems, ensuring steady game streams, and troubleshooting technical issues. While working, contractors will have the opportunity to watch live sports. The position requires availability for specific event weekends, including potential travel up to 40 miles one way. Daily shifts can exceed 12 hours, and weekend tournaments can involve over 30 hours of work. This role is physically demanding, requiring individuals to be on their feet and lift heavy objects.

Requirements

• Must be local to the city listed
• Must be available to work FULL SHIFTS Friday, May 22nd - Sun, May 24th (2026)
• Must Have Reliable Vehicle
• Must be 18 years of age
• Must complete a pre-event background check
• Must be familiar with iOS devices and products
• Must be personable and professional at all times
• Must have the ability to multitask with a strong attention to detail
• Must possess a positive winning attitude

Nice To Haves

• Experience in (live) event production, sports, or any customer-facing position is a plus!
• Knowledge, interest, and experience within grassroots soccer, lacrosse, basketball, volleyball, football and/or wrestling is a plus!
• Having a current and valid Driver's license to receive and transport event equipment.

Responsibilities

• Receive and handle all event equipment, including camera gear & marketing assets.
• Set up BallerTV’s streaming system (filming equipment) at each court (or field).
• Move safely, be efficient, and maneuver with a sense of urgency throughout your workday.
• Ensure each game’s stream is steady and consistent.
• Operate and troubleshoot equipment and technology.
• Maintain communication with the BallerTV team throughout the event.
