About The Position
Proof of the Pudding is seeking Premium Bartenders to provide strong customer service in premium hospitality areas at the Travis County Expo in Austin, Texas. The role supports Austin Rodeo premium and concessions operations. This is seasonal, part-time work, with scheduling dictated by event business needs.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of bartending experience.
- Must be TIPs/TEAM certified; Team certification is accepted, or training will be provided.
- Knowledge of upscale/VIP service styles.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Responsibilities
- Set up and break down the bar before and after events.
- Set up the bar promptly, including icing down products.
- Communicate with bar back personnel during events to assist with replenishment.
- Greet guests and provide exceptional customer service.
- Attend to guests’ needs throughout the event.
- Clean the bar after closing and discard excess ice.
- Record closing inventory.
- Put away inventory as directed.
- Follow federal, local, and venue alcohol policies.
- Perform other related duties as required.
