About The Position

The Hotel Evening Maintenance Staff performs general maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance throughout the hotel. The role helps ensure guest rooms, public areas, equipment, and building systems are safe, functional, and well maintained. The Maintenance Staff responds to work orders and guest requests, troubleshoots maintenance issues, and supports the overall appearance and operation of the property.

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, PTAC units, drywall, and general repairs.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to use basic hand and power tools safely.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong work ethic and professional attitude.
• Reliable, punctual, and dependable.

• Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repairs throughout the hotel.
• Respond promptly to guest room work orders and maintenance requests.
• Troubleshoot basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, PTAC, and building issues.
• Complete routine and preventative maintenance tasks.
• Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and equipment for maintenance needs.
• Assist with repairs to drywall, doors, fixtures, furniture, and other hotel property.
• Help maintain the exterior of the building, grounds, and property appearance.
• Maintain and organize maintenance tools, equipment, and supplies.
• Report major repairs, safety concerns, or equipment issues to the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Assist with emergency maintenance situations as needed.
• Follow all hotel safety, security, and maintenance procedures.
• Work closely with Housekeeping and other departments to address property needs.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
