About The Position

Planned Companies Building Services is hiring a friendly, detail-oriented Janitorial Porter to provide cleaning services in common areas and bathrooms. The role helps maintain a clean, healthy, and safe property for tenants, guests, and vendors. The porter is expected to be polite, respectful, thorough, and observant of additional ways to provide excellent service.

This is a part-time position in Hillsborough Township, New Jersey, scheduled Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 5:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. The hourly pay is $16.50.

Requirements

• Experience in similar roles using cleaning products and equipment to clean floors and carpets.
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently when needed.
• Strong report-writing and clear verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds or more.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors of various types.
• Strip, buff, and wax floors of various types.
• Dust ceilings, light fittings, countertops, and loose furniture.
• Scrub and sanitize bathroom toilets, sinks, and kitchen fixtures.
• Empty trash cans and wash and dry windows.
• Request cleaning supply orders and report breakages and needed repairs.
• Assist building management with projects and perform other duties as requested.
