About The Position

Home Instead Pocklington & Brough is seeking caring, reliable and committed individuals to support older people to remain safe, happy and independent in their own homes. Visits are a minimum of one hour to allow time to build relationships and provide person-centred care. The role pays £13.15–£13.65 per hour and offers 16 hours, with more hours available. Paid travel time and mileage are provided. A driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential. The evening shift runs from 4:15 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. The working pattern is three days in Week 1, including Friday, and three days in Week 2, including Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The employer seeks people able to commit to a regular and reliable schedule. Various contracts are available to suit different lifestyles. All roles are subject to satisfactory pre-employment checks, including an enhanced DBS disclosure. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK; sponsorship is not available.
