About The Position

Make our complimentary 5:30 p.m. Kickback “happy hour” … well, happy for our guests. Ensure exceptional, positive experiences for our diverse team members and guests. Greet guests at the buffet and dining area with a friendly, welcoming attitude. Assist with maintaining the buffet area by ensuring food stations remain clean, organized, and properly stocked. Wipe and clean tables throughout service to maintain a neat and inviting dining environment. Monitor the dining area and promptly address spills, messes, and other cleanliness needs. Ensure food safety and cleanliness standards are consistently maintained. Answer guests’ questions using knowledge of the hotel, surrounding area, and events. Provide courteous, friendly service and promote a positive guest experience with a +1 Service attitude. At the end of service, thoroughly clean the dining and buffet areas, including sweeping and mopping floors. Maintain a high standard of integrity, hospitality, and teamwork while supporting the Drury culture with guests and co-workers.

Requirements

Knowledge of hotel accommodations, the community. and hotel services
Warm and friendly manner in communicating with guests and creating a happy, comfortable, relaxing atmosphere
Ability to speak and receive direction (written and verbal direction) in English
