About The Position
Volkswagen of New Port Richey is seeking a motivated European Vehicle Technician Apprentice / Volkswagen Lube Technician to join its service team. This entry-level opportunity offers hands-on experience working on Volkswagen vehicles in a fast-paced dealership environment, with training and support from experienced technicians and a career path toward becoming a Certified Volkswagen Technician. The role may suit a recent automotive graduate, an aspiring mechanic, or someone with entry-level automotive experience. The position involves performing routine maintenance and inspections, assisting technicians with diagnostics and repairs, learning Volkswagen procedures and manufacturer standards, and maintaining accurate service documentation and a clean, safe work area. The dealership also provides access to dealership and manufacturer training programs. Applicants must be high school graduates or equivalent and at least 18 years old. Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- At least 18 years old.
- Passion for automotive repair and European vehicles.
- Interest in building a long-term career as an Automotive Technician.

- Excellent attention to detail.
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.

- Previous automotive coursework, trade school training, or hands-on mechanical experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform oil changes, tire rotations, multipoint inspections, and routine maintenance services.
- Assist Volkswagen technicians with diagnostics, repairs, and vehicle servicing.
- Learn Volkswagen repair procedures, systems, and manufacturer standards.
- Inspect vehicles for maintenance and safety concerns.
- Maintain accurate repair orders and service documentation.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
- Participate in dealership and manufacturer training programs.
