About The Position

The Law Office of David L. Carrier, P.C. is seeking an experienced Estate Planning Attorney for its firm, located on the north side of Grand Rapids. The firm focuses on developing estate plans to protect the middle class, specializing in Trusts, Wills, Asset Protection, Medicaid Applications, Probate, and Estate Administration. The firm's unique culture is characterized by its predominantly paralegal-run structure, allowing attorneys to focus on client interaction and meaningful work. Estate Planning and Elder Law are the sole practice areas, with a dedication to providing the best service and plans for clients.

Requirements

Minimum 3 years of experience
Must be a member of the Michigan Bar

Responsibilities

Meeting with clients to answer questions and propose an estate plan for them
Handling the sales aspects of the first meeting, “closing the deal”
Following up with clients that you met with if you were not able to “close the deal” at the initial meeting
Meeting with clients to review their estate plans that may be outdated
Having direct contact with clients via phone, virtual, and in-person
Creating posts for our various marketing platforms, including writing articles, blogs, etc.
