About The Position

Estate Planning Attorney – Client-Facing Advisory Role Scottdale and Tempe, Arizona | $125,000–$150,000 Base + Bonus Join a boutique estate planning firm with a substantial client base and a clear opportunity to grow into greater responsibility. Soto Law Firm is seeking a thoughtful, motivated estate planning attorney with at least one year of related experience who is ready to grow within a collaborative, client-focused firm. This position is ideal for an attorney who understands estate planning fundamentals and is eager to deepen their expertise, build a long-term career, and develop into a trusted advisor for clients in a high-touch, relationship-driven practice. About the Role This is a primarily client-facing position within a boutique estate planning practice. While you will continue to strengthen your technical foundation, the focus of this role is advising clients, guiding planning decisions, and managing matters from consultation through signing. Some candidates may already have significant client-facing experience. Others may be ready to step into that role more fully. We are open to both, provided the candidate demonstrates strong communication skills, sound judgment, and a commitment to client service. In this role, you will: Work directly with clients in a supportive, collaborative environment Lead estate planning matters from initial consultation through execution Continue refining technical knowledge and drafting skills as needed Manage matters holistically, from intake through execution Work with experienced paralegals who ultimately support drafting so you can focus on strategy, communication, and client relationships Our firm maintains a steady and reliable client flow. This position is focused on delivering excellent service and high-quality planning — not on business development quotas. While business generation is welcomed, it is not required.

Requirements

• At least one year of estate planning or related experience
• Understanding the structure and purpose of core estate planning documents
• Comfort interacting with clients and building rapport
• Clear and professional communication
• Taking ownership of work and reliable follow-through
• Appreciation of mentorship and collaborative practice
• Interest in building a long-term professional home
• We are not seeking a purely back-office drafting role or a short-term stepping stone. We are seeking someone who wants to develop as a trusted advisor within a stable boutique practice.
