About The Position
The Esports Coordinator will assist in creating and implementing a new district esports initiative. The position is for one coordinator at Carl Sandburg Middle School, with availability beginning March 9, 2027. The coordinator will hold student tryouts and an information session and work before or after contractual hours during the school year on program-related activities. The position offers a stipend of $1,337.
Responsibilities
- Hold student tryouts and an information session.
- Assist in planning and implementing an esports program.
- Review curriculum and make recommendations for implementation.
- Assist in turnkeying district esports program information to staff.
- Meet with student committees to gather input for planning.
- Meet with students for after-school esports activities.
