About The Position

We're seeking a motivated and student-centered English as a Second Language (ESL) Teacher to support an Illinois school district. This opportunity is ideal for an educator who is passionate about helping multilingual learners build confidence, strengthen communication skills, and succeed academically. Requirements

Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with ESL Endorsement.

Responsibilities

Provide targeted ESL instruction tailored to students’ individual language proficiency levels.
Support development across listening, speaking, reading, and writing while helping students access grade-level content.
Work closely with teachers and school staff to ensure students receive consistent, high-quality support throughout the school day.
Monitor student progress, maintain documentation, and contribute to a positive and welcoming learning environment where all students feel supported.
