About The Position

National Star Services, a 27-year-old facility management company, is seeking Kitchen Helpers to work at their location in Des Plaines, IL 60018. The role involves being part of a team that creates high-end products served daily to hundreds of international airline guests. Responsibilities include assisting chefs and cooks with various kitchen tasks such as food preparation, cutting fruits and vegetables, preparing small dishes, food platting, and setting up airline catering trays. Kitchen Helpers are also expected to read, understand, and follow menu specifications, keep kitchen areas clean and tidy, and comply with hygiene, quality, and safety standards at all times.

Requirements

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required for this role.
• Must be authorized to lawfully work in the US.
• Must have two updated valid forms of IDs.
• Need to have and wear Slip Resistant shoes at work.
• A Background check and Drug test will be conducted.
• Must have own transportation to get to and from work.
• Must be able to start working as soon as possible.
