About The Position

M3C is seeking an ESG Systems Analyst for a 12-month mandate with the possibility of renewal for one of its clients in the industrial sector. This remote position involves providing daily operational support and continuous improvement for ESG applications used across all company sites. The incumbent will ensure stable operations, timely incident resolution, controlled configuration and access management, accurate reporting, and effective user support. The role also includes leading small to medium enhancements to ESG modules, coordinating testing activities and release readiness, and collaborating closely with business stakeholders and IT vendors. The analyst will provide advanced Tier 2 application support, manage escalations from Tier 1, coordinate service restoration, and perform analysis of underlying causes in partnership with internal technical teams and Tier 3 vendors. Occasional travel may be required.

Requirements

  • 5 years of experience in application support, incident management, or IT service management
  • Strong understanding of ITSM principles, including Incident, Problem, and Change Management
  • Experience supporting enterprise applications or ESG/EHS platforms
  • Knowledge of application architecture, systems analysis, requirements gathering, development methodologies, testing, and end-user training
  • Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to solve complex problems
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to bridge business and technical teams
  • Customer-service orientation and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Willingness to travel as required based on project needs
  • Bilingual in English and French required

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with ServiceNow or an equivalent ITSM tool
  • Spanish considered an asset

Responsibilities

  • Providing daily Tier 2 support for ESG applications and collaborating with the Tier 1 team to triage, prioritize, and resolve incidents through the ITSM platform
  • Coordinating escalations with internal technical teams and Tier 3 vendors for complex issues, system defects, outages, and recurring incidents
  • Maintaining operational documentation (procedures, job aids, knowledge articles) to ensure consistent and transferable support practices
  • Planning, executing, and coordinating testing activities for new features, configuration changes, and system upgrades
  • Leading or supporting small enhancements and improvement initiatives to optimize ESG modules, workflows, and reporting capabilities
  • Creating and maintaining reports, dashboards, and data analyses using ESG platforms, SQL, or other reporting tools
  • Supporting change enablement activities (communications, training, user guidance) to ensure smooth adoption of system updates
