About The Position

Independence Title Company, a wholly owned subsidiary of Anywhere Integrated Services, is seeking a seasoned Escrow Officer for its Plano office in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. The company provides title, settlement, underwriting, and vendor management services supporting residential and commercial real estate transactions. The Escrow Officer works with internal teams and clients to complete transactions accurately and efficiently, providing professional service throughout closing. The role includes processing files, preparing closing disclosures and HUDs, completing necessary closing paperwork, coordinating lender approvals and updates, and determining clearance to close. The Escrow Officer also helps grow and service business, supports teammates, builds relationships with sales representatives and clients, and participates in marketing and entertainment activities to expand the customer base. The company seeks a friendly, outgoing, organized professional with a strong work ethic and a solutions-oriented approach to creating a remarkable customer closing experience. The position is not work from home.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 5 years of direct experience as an Escrow Officer or Closer.
Technical and confident knowledge of the closing process.
Proficiency with Microsoft Suite.
Must successfully apply for an Escrow Officer License after joining the company if not already licensed.

Responsibilities

Communicate and work closely with internal teams and clients to complete transactions in a timely, efficient, and error-free manner.
Execute closings professionally.
Process files and prepare closing disclosures (CDs), HUDs, and other necessary transaction paperwork and closing documents.
Obtain lender approvals, order updates, and determine clearance to close.
Diligently build business, add to the business brought in, and service it successfully.
Proactively assist and support team members and communicate respectfully.
Establish successful working relationships with sales representatives.
Participate in marketing and entertainment activities to increase the customer base.
Create a positive company image through professional appearance, actions, and conduct with employees and customers.
Build professional rapport with clients and new relationships to retain and grow the client base.
