About The Position

Independence Title Company, a subsidiary of Anywhere Integrated Services, is seeking a seasoned Escrow Officer for its Plano, Texas office. The Escrow Officer works with internal teams and clients to complete real estate transactions efficiently, accurately, and professionally. This includes processing files, preparing closing disclosures and HUD statements, completing transaction paperwork, obtaining lender approvals, ordering updates, and determining clearance to close. The position also involves building and servicing business, supporting team members, and developing relationships with sales representatives and clients. The successful candidate will help grow the customer base through marketing and entertainment activities and provide a positive, professional customer experience. This is not a work-from-home position.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Must successfully apply for an Escrow Officer License after joining the company if not already licensed.
At least 5 years of direct experience as an Escrow Officer or Closer.
Technical and confident knowledge of the closing process.
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite.
Friendly, outgoing, well-organized, and strong work ethic with a desire to find solutions for customers.

Responsibilities

Communicate and work closely with internal team members and clients to close transactions in a timely, efficient, and error-free manner.
Execute closings professionally.
Process files and prepare CDs and HUDs.
Prepare and complete paperwork and closing documents needed for transactions.
Obtain lender approvals, order updates, and determine clearance to close.
Build business, add to the business brought in, and service it successfully.
Proactively assist and support team members, communicating respectfully.
Establish successful working relationships with sales representatives.
Participate in marketing and entertainment activities to increase the customer base.
Create a positive image of the company through professional appearance, actions, and conduct.
Establish professional rapport with clients and new contacts to retain and grow the client base.
