About The Position

Responsible for cleaning and servicing building areas, moving furniture, equipment, and supplies in and around hospital departments, and performing environmental service duties to maintain the hospital in a neat, orderly, and sanitary condition according to established procedures. The work is fairly routine.

Requirements

• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• Ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to operate or learn to operate all equipment used in the department within a one-month training period.
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects and equipment.
• Must be able to lift wet vacuums weighing 75 pounds and push a cart weighing 200–300 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
