About The Position

Black River Health is seeking a dependable, motivated ES Technician for hands-on housekeeping and facility support in a hospital setting. The role helps keep the hospital clean, safe, welcoming, and operating smoothly for patients, families, and staff. No healthcare experience is required, and training on protocols is provided. The position is full-time, with 80 hours per pay period, and works the night shift from 4:00 pm to 12:00 am, Monday through Friday, with every seventh weekend and rotating holidays. The role offers an opportunity to learn additional skills, including preventive maintenance and CHEST certification.

Requirements

• Experience in housekeeping or similar work, such as laundry, cleaning, or maintenance.
• Comfort using basic tools and following cleaning protocols.
• Basic computer skills, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to lift, move, and remain active throughout the shift.
• English literacy and basic math skills.
• A valid Wisconsin driver's license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain patient areas, including exam rooms and surgical suites, to keep them safe and spotless.
• Restock supplies for staff and patients.
• Support the facility team with light maintenance, equipment checks, and simple repairs.
• Assist with laundry, snow removal, waste handling, and other hospital needs.
• Support safety and security by reporting concerns and assisting staff when needed.
