This role assists in the execution of the safety component of an Environmental, Safety, and Health (ESH) Program, encompassing both technical and administrative aspects. The position involves preparing and implementing Safety and Health Management Plans, associated procedures, and training programs. The ES&H Representative provides crucial input to various project groups, including Engineering, Construction, Procurement, Subcontracts, and Commissioning, to ensure safety and health requirements are integrated throughout project planning and execution. This role interprets safety and health requirements, offers comprehensive assistance with plan preparation, risk assessment, and ESH program execution. It also involves researching moderately complex issues and regulatory requirements, preparing documentation and reports, and supporting safety studies, risk assessments, program reviews, and audits. The position includes participation in emergency response, incident investigation, and resolution, as well as interfacing and communicating with stakeholders to resolve concerns. Regular participation in meetings with customers, team members, subcontractors, and other stakeholders is expected. The ES&H Representative conducts ESH inspections and monitoring to identify hazards and risks, evaluate controls and corrective actions, and assess compliance with contract, regulatory, and project requirements.
