Assists in the execution of the safety component of an ESH Program, encompassing both technical and administrative aspects. This role involves preparing and implementing Safety and Health Management Plans, associated plans, procedures, and training programs. The ES&H Representative provides crucial input to various groups, including Engineering, Construction, Procurement, Subcontracts, and Commissioning, to ensure safety and health requirements are embedded in project planning and execution. The position requires interpreting safety and health requirements, offering comprehensive assistance with plan preparation, risk assessment, and ESH program execution. Responsibilities include researching moderately complex issues and regulatory requirements, preparing documentation and reports, and supporting safety studies, risk assessments, and program reviews/audits. The role also involves participating in emergency response, incident investigation, and resolution, as well as interfacing and communicating with stakeholders to address concerns. Conducting ESH inspections and monitoring to identify hazards, evaluate controls, and assess compliance is a key function. The representative will integrate safety and health requirements into complex project planning, design, and operations to minimize adverse impacts, perform risk assessments, provide input on bid decisions, lead meetings, and track performance trends.
