About The Position

This position is responsible for evolving how WD-40's core technology environment works, specifically the connections between their ERP and other integrated systems. The role involves developing a deliberate roadmap for these integrations, rather than relying on quick fixes. Requirements

  • Hands-on fluency with iPaaS platforms and an understanding of their future direction.
  • Working knowledge of integrations and EDI, including the ability to differentiate between iPaaS platforms, point-to-point integration, and tools like Azure Data Factory, as well as the practical differences between APIs and custom integrations.
  • A proven track record of building and executing a roadmap, including vendor evaluation and decision-making frameworks.
  • A leadership style that fosters collaboration and connects people, teams, and technologies, avoiding siloed work.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the architecture connecting the ERP to every system plugged into it, including EDI, iPaaS, custom integrations, and ISVs, across a company expanding its D365 footprint.
  • Lead a ~12–18 month project to evaluate, select, and modernize the EDI and integration technology the business runs on.
  • Lead a technical architect and a team of EDI/integration specialists split across the UK and US.
  • Collaborate with solutions architects to understand their building objectives and provide technical guidance on implementation.
  • Ensure system integration coherence across all company regions.
