About The Position
Saint Francis Hospital, a member of Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic, is seeking an Emergency Care Technician to join its Emergency Room team. Under the direction and supervision of a nurse, the technician performs selected patient care tasks and other duties. The role follows detailed, specific instructions, and matters not covered by those instructions are verified with the nurse. This is a full-time, 0.9 FTE position, working 36 hours per week on the 7 p.m.–7 a.m. night shift. Every other weekend and rotating holidays are required.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- BLS certification.
Nice To Haves
- Licensure or certification as a CNA, PCA, MA, EMT, or EMT-P; credentials must be held at the state level or be nationally registered.
Responsibilities
- Perform selected patient care tasks under the direction and supervision of a nurse.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Follow detailed and specific instructions, verifying matters not covered with the nurse.
