About The Position

Aspire Rural Health System is hiring an ER Tech to join its team of healthcare professionals. The position provides basic nursing care to patients under the direct supervision of professional nursing staff and in accordance with departmental and hospital policies and procedures. The role is based in Cass City, Michigan, and is casual, with night shifts from 6:30 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. Employees work one shift per calendar week, every third weekend, and every third holiday.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CENA, MA, EMT, EMT-A, or EMT-P certification; a paramedic license; completion of relevant college coursework; or previous ERT experience.
• Current BLS certification.
• Previous hospital experience as an ERT or completion of a nursing assistant or EMT, EMT-A, or EMT-P course.
• Interpersonal skills, including being supportive, actively listening, communicating effectively with patients, family members, medical staff, and hospital staff, and working as a team member.
• Basic clinical evaluation skills for all age groups served by the facility: neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
