About The Position
The Emergency Medical Tech (EMT) assists professional nursing staff and physicians with providing emergency treatment to patients of all ages. The EMT documents care delivered accurately and promptly in the electronic health record.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Completion of an EMT course.
- State of Florida EMT license.
- American Heart Association BLS Healthy Interventions certification required within three months of hire.
- Excellent human relations and oral and written communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- One year of experience in a hospital or nursing home setting.
- Completion of a CNA course.
- Phlebotomy experience.
- EKG experience.
Responsibilities
