About The Position

This position is for an ER Social Worker at Providence St. Peter Hospital, an Acute Care facility with 325 total staffed beds. The role requires a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with experience in Behavioral Health and Psych. Charting is done via EPIC. The position is for a 13-week contract, starting ASAP, with shifts being 3x12 Nights (1730-0600). The ratio is 1:4. Local travelers with permanent residence within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for a travel contract. Pending licenses are accepted for quick starts. There are no RTO restrictions, but the preference is to keep it under 7 days. This role does not require the traveler to float between like units and does not require on-call duties. Block schedules are not being accommodated at this time.

Requirements

• 1 Year of experience required.
• BLS certification required.
• LCSW certification required.
• Psychiatric experience required.
• Behavioral Health experience required.
• Must not be a local traveler with permanent residence within 50 miles of the facility.
• First-time travelers are not accepted.

Nice To Haves

• Quick start preferred for pending licenses.

Responsibilities

• Provide social work services in the Emergency Room.
• Address behavioral health and psych needs of patients.
• Complete charting using EPIC.
• Work 3x12 Night shifts (1730-0600).
• Work every other weekend (EOW).
