About The Position

Exceptional Healthcare is seeking an ER Nurse Manager to lead the emergency department at its established community hospital in Ardmore, Oklahoma. The manager will oversee day-to-day operations, support safe and consistent patient care, and guide a dedicated emergency-room team. The role works directly with the CNO, allowing for timely decisions and visible impact on the department. The manager may also provide clinical support when patient volume requires it.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of Emergency Room experience.
• BSN from an accredited program.
• Active, unrestricted RN license in Oklahoma or a compact-state license.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.

Nice To Haves

• Charge nurse or supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Run day-to-day ER operations and keep patient care safe, timely, and consistent.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, inventory, and department needs.
• Partner closely with the CNO on quality, standards, and staff development.
• Improve throughput and processes by building on what works and addressing what does not.
• Coach and develop the ER team.
• Step in clinically when volume demands it.
