About The Position

Develops, administers, directs, and implements nursing and related patient care activities for areas of accountability. Collaborates closely with the nursing team to support organizational business initiatives and strategies. Responsibilities include standardizing systems, identifying efficiencies, overseeing finances for nursing programs and services, integrating performance improvement strategies, and supporting strategic nursing initiatives, processes, and communication plans that advance nursing goals while fostering patient, physician, and employee satisfaction. Collaborates with hospital departments to operationalize nursing integration, service line development, and standardized nursing practice. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in an acute care setting with demonstrated leadership skills.
• Knowledge of health care issues, trends, legal compliance, and managed care, with emphasis on nursing operations.
• Ability to foster collaborative partnerships in the development, implementation, and administration of service and program delivery.
• RN licensure.

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Specialty certification preferred.

• Directs a multidisciplinary workforce that provides clinically competent, efficient, and compassionate care and services in a professionally challenging environment.
• Standardizes systems and identifies efficiencies.
• Provides financial oversight for nursing programs and services.
• Integrates performance improvement strategies and supports strategic nursing initiatives, processes, and communication plans.
• Collaborates with hospital departments on nursing integration, service line development, and standardized nursing practice.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
