About The Position

Develops, administers, directs, and implements nursing and related patient-care activities for areas of accountability. Works closely with the nursing team to support organizational business initiatives and strategies. The role includes standardizing systems, identifying efficiencies, providing financial oversight for nursing programs and services, integrating performance-improvement strategies, and supporting strategic nursing initiatives, processes, and communication plans that advance nursing goals and patient, physician, and employee satisfaction. Collaborates with hospital departments to operationalize nursing integration, service-line development, and standardized nursing practice. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in an acute-care setting with demonstrated leadership skills.
• RN licensure.
• Knowledge of health-care issues, trends, legal compliance, and managed care, with emphasis on nursing operations.
• Ability to foster collaborative partnerships in the development, implementation, and administration of service and program delivery.

• Specialty certification preferred.

• Directs a multidisciplinary workforce providing clinically competent, efficient, and compassionate care and services in a professionally challenging environment.
• Works with the nursing team and hospital departments to support organizational initiatives, nursing integration, service-line development, and standardized nursing practice.
• Oversees standardization of systems, efficiency identification, financial oversight, performance improvement, and nursing-related processes and communication plans.
