About The Position

The ER Attendant performs a wide variety of technical patient care activities and clerical support for patients admitted to the Emergency Service Line. The role assists nursing personnel with routine patient care activities and demonstrates HH Lincoln Health’s mission, vision, and values through behavior, as outlined in the document and Employee Handbook.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Obtain BLS for Healthcare Providers certification during the orientation period.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize and change tasks frequently and quickly.
• Ability to work with people from diverse socio-economic backgrounds.
• Ability to organize, set priorities, and manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical patient care activities for patients admitted to the Emergency Service Line.
• Provide clerical support related to patients admitted to the Emergency Service Line.
• Assist nursing personnel by performing routine patient care activities.
