About The Position

The Registered Nurse provides comprehensive care to patients and their families in the emergency department. Nurses listen to and assess patients, develop plans of care, implement those plans, and reassess and evaluate each patient. This role is based in a 63-bed emergency unit with a fast-paced, didactic learning environment. Typical patient ratios are 2:1 in Trauma and 4:1 in Cardiac. Experienced nurses and new graduates are welcome.

Requirements

• Associate degree from an accredited program is required.
• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in Indiana or a state included in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).
• Team-oriented and willing to be flexible and dynamic in meeting patient care needs.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is desirable.
• Experienced and new graduate nurses are welcome.
