About The Position
The Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department provides comprehensive care to patients and their families. Nurses assess patients, develop and implement plans of care, and reassess and evaluate each patient's needs. The role is based in a 63-bed emergency unit and involves a fast-paced, didactic learning environment. Typical patient ratios are 2:1 in Trauma and 4:1 in Cardiac. Experienced and new graduate nurses are welcome.
Requirements
- Associate Degree from an accredited program.
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in Indiana or under the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).
- Team-oriented approach and flexibility in meeting patient care needs.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is desirable.
