Equipment Technician (PPC)
About The Position

Our clients range from Operators to General Contractors in the upstream, midstream and downstream market sectors of all energy industries. The Equipment Technician I is an entry-level role ideal for those interested in a hands-on approach to working with pumping equipment. The primary responsibility of this position includes maintaining equipment as directed by the District Manager or another designated supervisor. This position does not directly supervise others.
Requirements
- Must be able to become Forklift certified
Nice To Haves
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred
- Industry experience a plus
- General mechanical experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist the Equipment Technicians and Mechanics with general duties, including low pressure testing, job mobilization, etc.
- Keep all areas of the shop clean and well organized
- Maintain facility as needed (minor repairs, paint, etc.)
- Assist daily with forklift inspections, overhead crane inspections, organizations of tools and parts
- Assist in preventative maintenance work on equipment, including washing, prep and painting of equipment
- Assist with shipping and receiving of equipment (forklift operations)
- Assist weekly with organizing the yard
- Adhere to all policies, procedures, and programs as defined by BlueFin Field Services
- Participate in equipment team call rotation.
- Available for weekend and after-hours work
- Other duties as assigned
