About The Position

Vixxo is hiring a full-time Equipment Technician to provide reactive and preventative maintenance services independently throughout a territory covering Fairfax, Virginia, and surrounding areas. Compensation ranges from $23 to $30 per hour, depending on experience. The role focuses on repairing commercial coffee and espresso equipment and water systems, maintaining customer relationships, and meeting customer service-level requirements.

Requirements

• At least one year of experience servicing equipment; experience using appropriate testing equipment and practices for general electrical and water systems is preferred.
• At least one year of experience in a customer-facing or customer-service role.
• Proficiency using a smartphone for inventory, scheduling, and other tasks.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds without assistance.
• Must be willing to taste coffee as the final step in repairs.

Nice To Haves

• Experience using proper testing equipment and practices for general electrical and water systems.
• Relevant experience in fields such as HVAC, maintenance, field service, electrical, plumbing, beverage equipment, pest control, coffee retail, or mechanical repair.

Responsibilities

• Repair commercial espresso machines, coffee brewing and grinding equipment, and water systems throughout an assigned territory.
• Build and maintain customer relationships by providing professional, reliable service and following safety rules.
• Meet customer Service Level Agreement requirements by conducting thorough inspections, performing timely and correct maintenance, and completing descriptive, accurate paperwork.
