About The Position
Client is seeking an Equipment Technician II to support manufacturing and test equipment in a regulated medical device environment. This role is responsible for preventive maintenance, equipment troubleshooting, calibration, and supporting production uptime while ensuring compliance with GMP and quality standards.
Requirements
- Associate degree or equivalent technical education preferred.
- 2+ years of experience supporting capital equipment in a regulated manufacturing environment.
- Experience with electro-mechanical equipment and diagnostic tools.
- Familiarity with CMMS systems.
Nice To Haves
- Medical device manufacturing experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance (PM), calibrations, and corrective maintenance on manufacturing and test equipment.
- Troubleshoot electro-mechanical, pneumatic, and mechanical equipment issues.
- Restore equipment to operational status while minimizing production downtime.
- Assist with installation, qualification, and commissioning of manufacturing equipment.
- Document maintenance activities using CMMS.
- Read and interpret schematics and technical documentation.
- Support manufacturing operations by ensuring equipment availability.
- Follow GMP, safety, and documentation requirements.
