About The Position

The Equipment Service Technician supports and maintains production manufacturing equipment across production departments. Responsibilities range from responding to equipment emergencies during production hours to performing projects and preventive maintenance during non-production hours. The position works in a manufacturing environment operating across three shifts, with most activity on the production floor and some off-line work. The role may require overtime, including weekends or holidays, and occasional travel for training and equipment build events.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two-year degree in electrical, mechanical, or industrial studies, or completion of an equivalent equipment maintenance program.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair robots, servo systems, electrical systems, automated machinery, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to interpret electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic prints.
• Good computer skills.
• Strong decision-making skills and the ability to implement solutions efficiently.

Nice To Haves

• A minimum of 3 months of relevant experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to equipment emergency downtime, troubleshoot root causes, and complete repairs as needed.
• Support weekend preventive maintenance and repair activities.
• Support plant shutdown activities.
• Support new equipment installations and equipment modifications.
• Report problem causes and countermeasures.
• Document equipment activity in the Equipment Management System (Maximo).
• Provide daily reports of downtime and equipment modifications.
• Attend shift meetings.
• Provide cross-functional support for critical plant and production department themes.
