About The Position

The Equipment Service Technician performs mechanical services and preventative maintenance on cold drink equipment. The technician travels to customer locations, maneuvers equipment to troubleshoot issues, and completes necessary repairs. The role also involves maintaining customer relationships, documenting work using handheld equipment, managing vehicle parts inventory, coordinating with internal teams and customers, and complying with safety standards.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
At least one year of work experience.
Demonstrated mechanical, technical, and electrical aptitude.
Basic computer application and technology skills.
Ability to obtain Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) certification upon hire.
Valid driver's license, current vehicle liability insurance, and a driving record meeting company policy guidelines, including no major violations within the last three years.
Class-E driver's license for Missouri drivers and locations only.

Nice To Haves

Refrigeration/HVAC trade or vocational certification.
Ability to use a voltage meter.
Prior experience using a forklift.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and repair equipment in the field to keep it in proper operating condition.
Maintain positive customer relationships through effective communication.
Complete required work tickets using handheld equipment.
Maintain accurate vehicle parts inventory, order supplies, conduct bi-annual inventory audits, and keep the vehicle clean and organized.
Build cross-functional relationships with Planning, Sales, and customers by maintaining open communication and coordinating activities.
Maintain a safe work area, comply with safety standards, complete daily stretches and assigned safety training, and use required personal protective equipment.
