About The Position

The Equipment Rental Specialist is an inside sales role that supports telephone and walk-in customers renting construction and industrial equipment. As a front-line customer contact, the specialist understands equipment needs, negotiates and places orders, and provides customer satisfaction through a professional attitude. The role also requires strong administrative skills. Sunbelt Rentals offers eligible employees on-the-job training and career-growth tracks in outside sales or operational management.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license.
• Familiarity with various types of construction and industrial tools and equipment.
• Strong customer service and telephone skills.
• Solid computer and administrative skills.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, and lifting 50 pounds or more.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors when required by the job.

Nice To Haves

• Previous equipment rental industry experience.
• Successful completion of the DOT Qualification process.
• Bilingual ability (Spanish or another language), which may be preferred in some locations.
