About The Position

The Equipment Processing Technician processes and inspects medical equipment at a district office. Duties include disassembling and reassembling equipment, processing and managing associated accessories, and entering related data. The position is based at the Columbus District location in Groveport, Ohio, and is scheduled Tuesday through Saturday from 12:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. The listed pay rate is $17 per hour, with full benefits.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Basic computer skills.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and emergency off-hours as required.
Ability to lift and/or push 75 pounds.
Ability to stand for long periods.
Strong listening, writing, and speaking skills.
Ability to work with very little supervision.
Attention to detail and ability to organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines.
Commitment to patient privacy, safety, health, quality, and compliance with company, governmental, and customer policies and regulations.

Responsibilities

Process and inspect medical equipment, including disassembling and reassembling it.
Process and manage equipment accessories.
Complete associated paperwork and data entry accurately and in a timely manner.
Stay up to date on medical equipment in the fleet.
Clean and inspect medical equipment for functionality according to approved written procedures.
Ship and receive medical equipment and supplies.
Assist with inventory management.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Perform other assigned duties.
