About The Position

The Equipment Partnership Manager oversees the strategic management and expansion of the third-party equipment portfolio to broaden the line card and provide comprehensive systems solutions. The role develops portfolio strategies, establishes representation agreements and licensing programs, manages third-party integrators, and serves as a technical subject matter expert for third-party equipment at local, area, and national levels. It is a remote role.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree.
At least 5 years of product or program management experience.
Experience working with third-party equipment manufacturers, or experience working for a third-party equipment manufacturer dealing with sales representatives.
Technical understanding of HVAC equipment and systems.
Proficiency in training and educating field sales and operations.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute strategies to expand the third-party equipment portfolio and provide a comprehensive systems solution offering.
Identify and establish representation agreements and licensing programs with third-party equipment providers.
Manage relationships with third-party integrators to support successful collaboration and integration of new offerings.
Serve as the technical subject matter expert for third-party equipment, providing expertise and support to the JCI equipment field organization.
Conduct market research and analysis to identify portfolio expansion and improvement opportunities.
Collaborate with sales, marketing, engineering, and other cross-functional teams to integrate and promote third-party equipment.
Develop new product offerings with third-party integrators to meet market demands and customer needs.
Monitor and analyze product performance and use data to optimize the portfolio.
Communicate product vision and strategy to stakeholders and executive leadership.
Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies to guide product development and portfolio management.
