About The Position

Venture Solutions is seeking an Equipment Operator to join its team in Arden Hills, Minnesota. The role prepares and operates printing press equipment according to job specifications and company quality standards and procedures. The operator performs routine equipment maintenance, prepares inks, checks paper and plates, and visually inspects printed forms for quality. The position coordinates with the Production Team to prioritize and produce jobs, adjusts plans when deadlines change, and maintains knowledge of applicable safety requirements. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Requirements

• Ability to set adjustable mechanisms to required tolerances.
• High degree of mathematical skills and attention to detail.
• High degree of mechanical ability.
• Good reading ability.
• Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand.
• Regularly remain in a stationary position.
• Constantly operate machinery and handle products, including print materials.
• Frequently move inside the facility.
• Regularly move up to 25+ pounds by lifting, pushing, pulling, and/or carrying.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and operate printing press equipment in compliance with job specifications and company quality standards and procedures.
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly equipment maintenance to ensure optimum output.
• Prepare inks to achieve proper color and consistency.
• Check paper for type, size, color, and quantity.
• Check plates for correct format.
• Visually inspect forms throughout the run for quality.
• Coordinate with the Production Team to produce and prioritize jobs and, when necessary, reorganize work to meet deadline changes and updates.
• Maintain knowledge of safety requirements for the job and equipment.
