Equipment Operator
About The Position
Loenbro is seeking an experienced Equipment Operator for construction projects in Ellendale, North Dakota. The role operates track hoes, skid steers, telehandlers, and other heavy equipment; prepares job sites; performs basic equipment maintenance; and follows safety regulations and guidelines. The operator inspects equipment daily, reports equipment status and work progress, and supports efficient project completion. The role works in manufacturing, pipeline, and refining environments and requires compliance with applicable safety regulations, PPE requirements, and Loenbro Environmental Health and Safety policies.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least 3 years of heavy equipment operating experience.
- Basic mechanical knowledge and skills.
Nice To Haves
- PEC certificate holders are preferred.
- Ability to clearly explain steps and provide clear directions.
- Ability to complete paperwork such as purchase orders and time sheets, and answer questions about construction processes for field staff and subcontractors.

Responsibilities
- Perform daily equipment inspections to confirm proper functionality and safety.
- Perform light maintenance on equipment as required.
- Follow safety regulations to maintain a safe and compliant work environment.
- Submit daily reports on equipment status, work progress, and issues encountered.
- Operate a diverse range of heavy equipment to support project needs and complete tasks efficiently.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
