About The Position

R360 Environmental Solutions, a Waste Connections company, is hiring Equipment Operators for its facility in Jal, New Mexico. This is a local position with no travel and no per diem. The work is performed outdoors in all weather conditions. Out-of-city applicants may be provided housing or man-camp accommodations. The position involves operating heavy equipment and supporting daily facility operations, water-control work, and saltwater disposal (SWD) activities. The schedule is a rotating day and night shift on a 14-days-on, 7-days-off rotation. Working hours are 5:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. or 5:30 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. Pay is listed as $65,000–$80,000+ depending on experience.

Requirements

Experience operating heavy equipment.
Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
Basic computer skills.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience as a mechanic, working on mechanical systems, or performing large plant maintenance is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Operate heavy equipment, including excavators, dozers, loaders, and articulated dump trucks, to support daily facility operations.
Monitor and maintain the customer truck wash rack.
Run 6x6 diesel-driven pumps and perform oil skimming.
Assist with customer off-loading.
Perform tank, pump, and well maintenance for SWD operations.
Perform basic labor and cleaning duties.
Run reports and monitor oilfield waste treatment operations.
