About The Position

Arhaus is hiring an Equipment Operator for its distribution center team. The role operates reach trucks and high-level stock pickers to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise, with care and precision. The night shift schedule is Monday through Thursday, 5:30 PM to 4:00 AM.

Requirements

• Ability to lift 150 pounds, with or without accommodations.
• High school diploma or GED.
• One to two years of experience operating an order picker, cherry picker, reach truck, sit-down tow motor, or rider pallet jack.
• Ability to operate equipment at heights up to 35 feet.
• Working knowledge of computer programs.
• Understanding of general distribution or warehousing practices, including order picking, packing, and shipping and receiving processes and procedures.

Nice To Haves

• Valid driver’s license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate power mobile material-handling equipment, including cherry pickers, reach trucks, and high-level pickers, to pick and put away merchandise.
• Use an RF gun to select orders and put away products according to system-directed order types.
• Retrieve items for delivery or picking and accurately stage inventory in assigned areas.
• Maintain inventory accuracy by processing product movements through RF transactions.
• Protect merchandise while moving it from rack to dock, keeping it damage-free.
• Operate equipment safely and efficiently according to company safety standards.
