About The Position

Haley & Aldrich is seeking an Equipment Operator for a temporary position of approximately six months, located onsite in Hardin County, Ohio. The role involves operating heavy equipment and performing manual labor or other construction-related tasks. The work may involve lifting up to 100 pounds, working different shifts, and entering confined spaces. The operator is responsible for assuring safe working practices and conditions for the assigned crew. The salary range is $30–$33 per hour. Actual compensation depends on factors such as education, related work experience, certificates, skills, and current market conditions.

Requirements

OSHA 30-hour training and/or general construction industry training course(s).
Knowledge of safety practices and procedures for operating heavy equipment.
Ability to use operations manuals and manufacturer's specifications when operating specialized equipment.
Ability to prepare reports and records of work accomplished, time spent, and parts, supplies, and materials used.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
DOT physical required.

Responsibilities

Operate excavators, tracked dozers, wheel loaders, water trucks, skid steers, motor graders, backhoes or combinations, and other applicable Class I, II, III, and IV equipment.
Perform manual labor and other construction-related tasks, which may include lifting up to 100 pounds.
Assure safe working practices and conditions for the assigned crew.
Prepare reports and records of work accomplished, time spent, and parts, supplies, and materials used.
