About The Position

The Equipment Operator is responsible for unloading, staging, picking, delivering, and locating stock using wire-guided equipment and other assigned equipment. This role requires working steadily to meet productivity timelines, ensuring accuracy in stock counts and product location, and updating inventory records using the Warehouse Management System (WMS). The position also involves working independently to meet department standards, reporting any discrepancies to supervisors, and maintaining dependability with established shift schedules. Special projects may also be assigned.

Requirements

• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Ability to operate hand-held computer
• Strong hand-eye coordination
• Ability to operate Walkie Rider, Counter Balance, Turret Truck, and Order Picker vehicles
• Math skills – High School level
• Good communication skills and attention to detail
• Good attendance
• Good work ethic
• Trouble shooting ability

• PC and RF knowledge helpful

Responsibilities

• Unload, stage, pick, deliver, and locate stock using wire-guided equipment and assigned equipment.
• Work steadily to locate and pick stock within established timelines.
• Verify stock counts and properly locate and pick product using warehouse vehicles.
• Update inventory records on WMS utilizing computers and/or RF monitors.
• Work independently to meet established department standards.
• Report any discrepancies or problems to supervisor, lead, and/or coordinator.
• Be dependable to work established shift schedules.
• Complete special projects as assigned.
