About The Position

Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently on construction sites for Primoris Energy Services projects in Russel Springs, Kentucky, ensuring adherence to project specifications and safety protocols.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 2-5 years of experience operating heavy construction equipment.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Strong understanding of construction site safety practices and procedures.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, grade stakes, and other construction documents.
Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
Physical ability to lift heavy objects, work in various weather conditions, and stand for extended periods.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Nice To Haves

Possess relevant heavy equipment operator certifications (e.g., NCCER) preferred.

Responsibilities

Operate various types of heavy equipment, including but not limited to excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, and graders, for construction and maintenance projects.
Perform pre-shift and post-shift equipment inspections, reporting any defects or malfunctions to supervisors.
Load and unload materials, grade and level earth, dig trenches, and prepare sites according to project plans and specifications.
Adhere strictly to all company safety policies, procedures, and OSHA regulations.
Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure equipment is properly maintained.
Collaborate with team members, supervisors, and other personnel to ensure project success.
Complete daily production reports and other required documentation accurately and on time.
Assist with manual labor and other tasks as needed to support construction operations.
