About The Position

Sundt is looking for a Loader Operator with 3+ years of prior experience. Preference will be given to candidates with mining experience, as that background closely aligns with the pioneering work we will be performing on steep slopes. The role requires availability to work overtime, passing a pre-employment drug screen, and involves operating a variety of heavy equipment such as backhoes, excavators, dozers, loaders, graders, haul trucks, dump trucks, and water trucks. The operator will also be responsible for preventative maintenance and pre-shift walk-arounds of assigned equipment to ensure safe operation.

Requirements

  • Must have a minimum of three years (level I), four years (level II), five years (level III) and six plus years’ experience in the industrial/commercial construction industry and have an in-depth understanding of the operation of various types of heavy construction equipment.
  • Must be able to read and understand drawings, specifications, safety and quality standards and effectively utilize all trade tools and equipment relevant to the work.
  • Possess effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must have 3+ yrs. prior experience.
  • Must be available to work overtime.
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screen.
