Equipment Inspector

About The Position
The Equipment Inspector inspects trucks and trailers to ensure they are safe and compliant for operation. This role is an opportunity to learn the transportation operation and start or grow a career in the industry. The schedule is Wednesday through Saturday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., with pay ranging from $17.00 to $18.00.
Requirements
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic trailer knowledge or experience.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Inspect trailers entering and exiting the yard.
- Inspect tires, lights, and other exterior components for safe operating conditions.
- Inspect trailers arriving from Mexico for damage or mechanical defects.
- Ensure the timely and authorized entrance and departure of equipment.
